Alacrity is the epitome of the young bachelor male. He has left home recently to seek his own way in the world, and manages as well as one would expect. He travels ceaselessly, and owns very little in the way of material things. He feels no need to accumulate wealth or possessions. He is naturally high spirited, and never remains in the same place for long: restless, always wondering what might be just beyond reach.

He is most at home on the savannah, and prefers open spaces to enclosed forests and actively shuns buildings. At best, he is curious about the young female Harubas he meets, but lacks the social graces and confidence to approach them.
