The sun rose beyond the hill's crest and light poured into Raziela, bathing the tress in gold and warmth. A distant bird-call echoed through the valley, heralding the morning.
Auden lay nestled amongst the tall ferns and fallen logs. Blinking sleepily at the dawn's light she yawned deeply. She stood up arching her back, and stretched her legs forward.
A rustling bush alerted Auden to the presence of Chiro. He bounded out of the brush, his tail bobbing up and down, his mouth filled with acorns. Within moments Guiwi burst out of the leaves snarling with anger. He dashed after the sprightly Chiro intent upon catching him. Auden smiled at the happy and ... not so happy misticpals as they scurried by.
Her feelings of mirth were interupted by Toukur's arrival. His colorful appearance did little to hint at the dark tiddings he brought...
Auden sprinted through the dense woods following the bird. Toukur stopped abruptly and Auden slowed her pace. Her face was striken with a look of horror as she surveyed the scene before her
Fairy flew by as the lumbering Nightmare Forryst jaws snapped shut, only missing them by a second. The Forryst's four eyes swung to the side as it saw Auden dive at it. The two tumbled into the brambles and Toukur's feathers ruffled as he craned his neck to see if his friend was okay.
Auden rose from the tangled vines and roots, covered in dirt and small sticks. The Forryst leaves had softened from dark purple to light brown, and then back to green. Within moments the misticpal was as good as new, and bounced about happily.
