Genetics says ((Is it sad that when I read over that last post, the only thing going through my mind was "Avatar: The Last Airbender"? xD)) *she raised an eyebrow, but listened intently as the creature spoke* I don't particularly find it either gross or cool, but it is interesting. *she shrugged* I keep a very indifferent view toward many things. A good trait to have, I think. It keeps my judgement from being clouded. *she then listened to his next set of questions and tapped her chin lightly* My line of work basically consists of studying different forms of heredity. Physical or characteristic traits passed from generation to generation of many creatures. I've always been fascinated with the way a species evolves or adapts to certain environmental factors over time. I suppose, to sum it up in a nutshell, I study the various codes of life that link a creature to its ancestors, in a manner of speaking. *she then tilted her head to the side in an expression of thought* It is not a touchy subject. But it is rather difficult to explain. You see, I suppose I could still be considered human, but I have been... genetically altered. Meaning some of the physical aspects that made me completely human were changed. Enhanced, you could could say. Thus, I differ from humans in some ways. *she smiled* I hope at least a fraction of that made sense.

Genetics says *though unprepared for the fur mantle to be tossed her way, she caught it with ease, pulling one corner of her mouth upward in a half grin as she looked down at the talking skull. When Aether turned and began walking away, she chuckled lightly* Don't worry, I won't be going after him. Despite what he thinks, I'm not completely incapable of handling myself. *she sat down on a nearby boulder and held the skull in her lap, tilting her head slightly* Counterpart? So you're bound to him in a way? *she asked before smiling* Well if you're so curious, why don't you ask me a question?

Genetics says And I'm not a complete idiot. *she raised an eyebrow* And you can doubt that statement all you want. Anyway, did you want to stop here for the night? *she glanced around curiously*

Genetics says *she watched him walk off for a moment, the smirk on her lips still evident before she shook her head slightly and followed after him* No argument there. *she replied. Indeed, she knew it would not be such a good idea for them to wander through an open desert in the middle of the night. If that creature had the bravery to attack them in broad daylight, who knows what would be waiting for them out here in the dark*

Genetics says *she kept her eyes firmly on the creature until it was completely out of sight, allowing herself to look back at the other as he approached her. In response to his first statement, a small smile tugged at her lips* Neither did I~ *she replied before raising her eyebrow* I'm by no means tired... Unless you're asking me if I want to rest as an excuse for you to rest, hm? *she asked, though there was a slight teasing edge to her voice, indicating that she was just messing with him and not actually serious*
