He turned his nose up at everything, hated to do anything himself, and was never pleased with having to get his hands dirty. Now, he's a much more down to earth, well rounded, and not as much of a sissy.... Though he still has his moments of being a spoiled little one.
Background: He came from a very wealthy family, one that gave him everything he wanted, when he wanted it. His mother is a military women, his father an accountant... So it's very clear that his mother is a very domineering women who ran the house hold. Xavier was put in to English riding lessons at a young age, and by the age of 16, he had participated in many, many jumping shows with many ribbons and trophies to show his skill.
Hi, my name is Xavier, I'm 19, your average college student... Well at least that was what I was supposed to be until I met the love of my life, and in the last place I would of every thought to look; Funny how that works eh?
So now, I'm actually training to be an RCMP, and so far, that seems to be going well. But I know you're not here to read about my boring everyday life, no, you're just here to read the story of how I met that one person that flipped my whole life and world upside down.
So it started the summer between eleventh and twelfth grade, I was 16, just to save you the math. My summer was planned, and my bags were packed and I was ready to go, I did not end up where I had planned... So let the story begin.
~~~~
It was a beautiful summer morning, the sun was just sneaking over the horizon, and the thin male sat in the back of his chauffeured vehicle. His body clad in very expensive clothing, his expensive loafers tapping against the floor excitedly. He was on his way to one of the highest ranking English Equine facilities in the country. His light green eyes watched out the window, just waiting to see it, knowing they were getting close, the vehicle turned a corner and it came into view and an exciting squeal escaped the boy with the multi colored hair as he gittered in the back seat.
But the vehicle did not pull into the gated driveway, it went passed it, "What are you doing?!?" The rich spoiled brat shrieked from the back seat, "That is not the addressee I was given Sire" was all he got back from his chauffeur. "Buuut!!" He squeaked, and before he could continue his protest, the dark colored glass that separated the two began to raise. The vehicle turned again, this time onto a bumpy, long dirt road.
Xavier sat in the back, going from one end of the seat to the other, his breathing quick, his mind racing and his fingers tapping against any surface they touched.
Finally a large western, older styled farm came into view and the vehicle turned down the muddy driveway. "Noooo, where to hell are we?!" He questioned out loud even though he knew no one would hear him.
The vehicle came to a stop, a tall, man stood there waiting. He wore nothing but jeans, boots, a large belt buckle and a cowboy hat that covered the thick, golden blond hair, his ice blue eyes inspecting the vehicle, his thumbs in the loops of his belt. Before the small male could really understand what was going on, the door to the back seat opened, "We have arrived Sire" And the chauffeur stood there holding the door open, "It will be a cold day in hell before I get out and get my shoes filthy with only God knows what!" Xavier snapped, his light green eyes looked down at the ground while he comfortably still sat in the back seat. And then the battle started. The chauffeur reached into the back seat, "You mother gave me clear instructions to make sure this is where you were dropped off, and that is exactly what I shall do." He grunted as he had to climb in further, the thin male had scampered to the farther end of the back seat and made himself as small as possibly, making it hard to grab him. Finally, the chauffeur had managed to grab Xavier's ankle, and started to pull the rich brat from his protective ball, yips, shrills and screams escaped him as the large chauffeur continued to pull him from the vehicle. Meanwhile, the tall man just stood there, his hands going from his waist, and up to fold across his bare chest, just shaking his head. "Unbelievable" He whispered to himself, his country accent barely noticeable at that level, even his statement went unnoticed with how unruly the spoiled one was being, and how much of a fight it was proving to be to just get him out of the vehicle.
Finally after near a thirty minute struggle, the vehicle was driving away, and Xavier stood there, his loafers already filthy, his bags at his feet, and a horrid scowl crinkled across his normally innocent features.
"That wasn’t so hard now was it?" The tall man approached Xavier, his country accent heavy, and was greeted by a "Hmph" and a turn of the brat's nose. "The name's Tyson." He reached a hand out to offer a friendly handshake. Xavier looked down at the hand, and he could see the dirt, the calluses and inwardly cringed, but then the words of his mother rang in his head 'Mind your manners!'. But before he could even open his mouth the country dweller continued to speak, "You must be Xavier." with a grin, his hand still outstretched, "Yes, how could you tell?" The smaller male grumbled as he finally took the other man’s hand in his own, and immediately regretted, his little hand was crushed by the other man’s overpowering and strong handshake. "Your mother and I had an interesting conversation, and based on your reaction..." He paused for a moment to give Xavier a moment to understand what he was referencing, "You fit the description." He gave a slight chuckle as Xavier scowled at him, his arms crossing over his chest unhappily once more.
"Well let's go, you're in cabin five." And he began to walk away, "What about my bags!? Who's going to take them?" He asked, a slight panic to his voice. "You carry them yourself." Was the answer Xavier got, "What?!" He shrilled out, clearly very unimpressed, "Or you can always ask one of your fellow campers to help you out." Tyson spoke over his shoulder with a mischievous grin.
So that was exactly what Xavier did, he looked around and spotted a small group, and waved them over. A couple came over, and they weren't the friendliest looking bunch, but it wasn't just them, it was the whole group that looked like a bunch of miscreants, at least in Xavier's eyes. "Can you help me with these?" He pleaded, looking at a thin, but toned male. "Ha, sure." Was the answer he got as the one he had asked walked up to one of his bags and gave it a swift kick, knocking it over into the dirt. The group then walked away, leaving Xavier there, a heartbroken look on his face. Tyson did nothing but watch from a distance, waiting patiently for Xavier to catch up.
Finally the rich little priss let out a sigh and then gave the ranch a real good look, actually seeing where he was, what the place looked like. First his eyes noticed the many different people that crowded different areas, it was very clear that this summer camp catered to many different financial groups, backgrounds, like styles and best of yet, Xavier seemed to be the only one of his kind; The spoiled rich kid. But he could see clearly that this was a place full of horses, there was a large older looking barn that could easily house many horses, round pens could be seen spread throughout the property and a few riding rings, but most of it was well taken care of fields. Not the usual high maintenance, perfection facility he was used to.
So with an upset sigh, the smaller male carefully grabbed two of the three large suitcases he packed and began dragging them in the direction of Tyson, knowing well enough he was incapable of carrying even just one of them. It took him a little while, but he had finally managed to get all of them to their rightful places, that was only after dragging, huffing, puffing, pushing, all while whining all the way there.
Once at the cabin, Tyson looked at him. "This summer camp is a place full of people from different walks of life, and it's a place of learning. So let's go, and get you started." And before Xavier could really catch his breath, they were on their way out the door.
"So you know how to ride horses?" Tyson asked, looking down to Xavier on an angle as they walked. "Been riding since I was 3." Xavier chimed, the first site of happiness shining through at the topic of his biggest passion. Xavier had a bit of a bound to his step as they got closer to the barn, he was actually becoming excited, he was going to get to ride and that was what he was looking forward to. "Here, nothing is done for you" Tyson voiced as he pushed one of the large barn doors open, Xavier's response was simply a turn of his nose. His pale green eyes grew wide as he saw the interior of the barn, it was well taken care of, each stall a nice size and every horse that remained in a stall was happy as could be. They walked down the center stretch of the barn, Xavier looking at all of the horses as he passed, pleading to be allowed to ride certain ones. But the stopped in front of a stall that housed a beautiful, black Arabian mare with a golden mane and tail. "This will be your horse while you're here." The tall male informed him, "An Arabian?! Really?!" He protested, "You got me one of the most hot headed, stubborn breeds you have here!" The smaller male protested, "I match horses to the personality of their rider, and this is who I am choosing for you" Tyson’s tone was even, shifting his weight. "But you don't even know me" Xavier gave him a confused expression and lifted both hands up in front himself, palms up to exaggerate his confusion.
