Gallows was born into a harsh and violent upbringing, abused profusely by his father and rejected by his strictly Catholic mother. A social outcast from society, Gallows spent most of his time locked away in his home - a stinking, flea infested flat shared with other tenants and his parents. Death by execution was common in the grave medieval era, and Gallows knew he needed a job to relieve himself of the strife and discord at home. He became a well known executioner, and over the years claimed the lives of thousands of traitors, smugglers, murderers and thieves. There was one thing all these criminals had in common, and that was their method of death - being hung from the neck until pronounced dead. Gallows was in charge of this contraption, and enjoyed his occupation, becoming captivated with the idea of death and torture.
