Gomarda is the spirit of a Mandaran Chandler, (Candle Maker) who was murdered by Halfrax, the Frodrinn warlock. His spirit was trapped in this world by Halfrax's spells, and he became bound to candles. He is only able to appear by the light of candle, and is only tempted to due so by the promise of trading secrets. Secrets have become his world since death, for the last thought on his mind as his soul passed from this world, was to uncover what dark secrets Halfrax was hiding. Had he only learned his dark intent sooner, he may have escaped his fate.
Gomarda is an ashen grey color, with pale white hair and scales the color of dark thistle. His back is covered with the melted wax of countless candles given to him as tribute.
He tends to be obsessive, and fixate on certain people he thinks are keeping secrets from him.
When you light a few candles, and drop a single drop of blood on each candle, extinguishing the flames while whispering the Chandler's Call "What are you secrets, what secrets are mine. Bring them to light, by the candles we bind. Joined by blood, and sent to the black. Gomarda the Chandler, I Summon you back!"
When the final candle light is put out, and you are in complete darkness, you will see a faint light, and then another, and then more. Once all the candles on Gomarda's back ignite, his ghostly presence will be illuminated. Gomarda faintly whispers to you to come closer, luring you to him. The ghost would then say "You have a question, but what do you offer for its answer?" But beware dealing with the spirit. Listen not to his hints at dark secrets, tales of intrigue and hidden treasure. Gomarda desperately wants you to give up every secret you hold dear. He will do anything to entice you into bargaining with him. Sometimes a single secret may not satisfy him. He may even decide you are too interesting to leave, and that he needs to tempt you to reveal more secrets to him.

-Death of a Candle Maker-
Gomarda was a candle maker in life, and ran a candle shop out of kingdom village. Gomarda was a kind and honest Mandoran, who loved his work, and had many friends.
One day a Frodrinn stopped by his shop. He looked harsh and cold, and gave Gomarda a bad feeling. The frodrinn lowered his green spectacles and glared at the candle maker "I need a special candle made for a ceremony I am to preform." He paused, then spoke in a hushed tone "this will be no ordinary candle, It will be made using a special pigment for color, for it needs to be the most perfect shade of red, and it will be inlayed with Arcane runes written here on this scroll."
The Frodrinn handed him a vial and a scroll with a wax seal. Somewhat concerned with the odd request, Gomarda started " Uh... well... uhm, such a unique and unusual candle would be costly, and I would need the money up front Mr...what did you say your name was?" Interrupting Gomarda the frodrinn snapped. "I didn't, but you may call me Halfrax, and with regards to your 'Payment', I think this will suffice. " He dropped a small sack filled with coins and gems.
Gomarda placed his paw over the bag, and leaned forward. "Ill make you this candle, but only if you tell me what its for." Halfrax smiled at Gomarda "Its a candle, it illuminates my writing desk..." Gomarda was not amused by the Frodrinn, but he pressed further. "This is a complex order, knowing why I'm making this candle could prove helpful in meeting your exact needs." Halfrax stopped smiling. "A candle maker of your skill and esteem should know when to let a matter rest. You will make me this candle, and i shall be back for it by the next full moon." Halfrax turned and walked out the front door, leaving an anxious and intrigued Mandoran Candle Maker in his wake.
Gomarda set to work on the candle, spending days picking out the exact waxes and mold he would need, and closed down his shop so as to not be disturbed.
He tirelessly worked on the project, all the while consumed by one nagging question. "What is it for? What does he need such a specific candle for...and why wont he tell me. I've never had such a secretive customer." Gomarda had spent days without eating, his face was sunken and his clothes were covered with spilled wax. He muttered to himself, and paced, stopping to glance out his window at the moon. "Its the full moon. He said full moon. I made him his candle, and its the full moon. Where is he? Where is Halfrax..."
Gomarda sat down, and then got back to his feet. "What is this candle for? WHAT IS IT FOR!?" Gomarda bellowed in confusion. Unaware to the Mandoran, there was a presence behind him. It whispered "It is for you.." Gomarda turned in surprise, only to meet Halfrax's knife. Protruding from his chest was a jeweled dagger. Halfrax twisted it slightly, eliciting an agonized moan. The Frodrinn lifted his leg, and kicked the Mandoran sharply in the chest, sending him spiraling backwards. Gomarda slumped over his workbench. With a ragged gasp he pleaded. "Why... why have you *groan* done this... what is this candle... what is it for?" Halfrax strode past the prone chandler, and lifted the candle off of the display. Paying the dying Mandoran no mind, he squinted at the carvings for a moment, then seemingly pleased, turned. Now looking at Gomarda, his emotionless face broke into a small lopsided smile, and Halfrax closed the short distance between them. Gomarda struggled to his feet, still clutching at the dagger. Halfrax dashed forward, the wounded and dazed candle maker had no time to stop Halfrax as he pulled the dagger out of his chest. Gomarda dropped to the floor with a low thud. Halfrax Lifted the blood soaked dagger above the intricate and darkly beautiful candle. With a steady hand, he let a single drop of blood fall to the candle. To gomarda's shock it sprang to life, its wick alighting as if by magic, its fire burning a purple hue that seemed unnatural. Halfrax chuckled to himself, and set the candle down. He began riffling though his bags. "Don't.. Don't you ignore me Hal...Half....hhaaall..." Gomarda's vision clouded, and he felt as if he was being burned from the inside out. Then there was no more.
Gomarda's Wax Shop remained closed for a number of years before being torn down. The people of kingdom village would leave candles near the vacant lot for their missing friend, no one had learned the secret of what had happened to the Mandoran.
Gomarda could not find peace. He was consumed with an obsessive need to find out secrets. He was trapped in a realm between life and death, and wandered Mistica, listening. Perched on a high shelf, hidden under a dark stair case, standing right behind an unassuming traveler. Always unseen, always hearing secrets...Secrets. He wanted to know their secrets. He wanted to know all the secrets.
