Geremy is one of the co-creators of 'The Game', a online multi-player game about 'finding yourself'. Getting it's way to being popular, 'The Game' is designed to aid the player in becoming the person they want to be, going so far as to touch the heart of the player and effect them on a real life level. However, there is a secret level of this game that engages the player even more so, and this part of the game is truly life-alerting.
A Avid player of his own game, Guide along with the other two creators of 'The Game' decided to put themselves into the game as a 'admin/boss' level, a sort of final test the player must endure in order to defeat the game and get the prize. However, when one of the co-creators 'died' and the other began to loose their memory, Guide was forced to ecape the game world and try and solve the issues from the outside. But upon returning to the real world, he began to hallucinate and believe that his powers from the game world, transferred into the real world. Though, there was actually more truth to his hallucinations than what he lead himself to believe, and thus gave him the ability to possess such gifts, but in denial that he actually had them.
Along with these powers, he also began to have terrible nightmares of people dying and a choas infested world. Being weak to such torment, it has been weeks since he last fell asleep, determined to imposse insomnia upon himself and refusing to get any kind of sleep in fear of these dreams. So instead, he plays video games to keep himself awake. It's one of the most effective ways to keep his brain stimulated beyond drinking energy drinks and eating sugar.
When encountered outside the game, he can seem a bit self-centered, thinking his acomplishments in the game world are the only things important as well as his social online feeds. He is a habitual blogger and online gamer, often leading online wars and hacking schemes under his code group. Whether his intentions with this are good or bad, it's currently unclear, though, know that he his capable of doing great things with just his laptop and a internet connection. Although he can be a bit impatient or ignorant, he does have a soft side to him, which is often revealed around his younger siblings, or if given some cotton candy~ his favorite snack.
Thanks to his online character, he has been attributed some of his abilities and responsibilities, this online character is a reaper of sorts, which he often enjoys beheading people with his customized cybernetic scythe or blasting away with the double-barrel nuclear soul shot gun . Though he doesn't exactly 'guide' people to the afterlife, his online character is the rebellious ferryman who doesn't give a rat's behind about souls getting to where they need to be. That being said, the 'nightmares' he often has are of those of people dying in the real world, his job to guide them to their afterlife awakening in his sleep. He is capable of reaping or taking souls, but he is in denial that it is reality, and so, doesn't take advantage of this gift.
