Appearance and Story (Anthro):

Appearance: Tall, tan-skinned from desert sun. Almond dark red eyes, slanted. Straight black hair cropped just above the shoulders. Is tied back in a braid when leading his fellow men into the clash of clans. Nothing but a warrior kilt; Gold and maroon. Tribal tattoos mark his body. He wears a circlet with a red gem in middle of brow. Carries his sorcerer staff and uses illusion to create fire-wings. Is a pretty-boy, and wears an ivory-colored flower in his hair.

Story:
When Kohl was born, he was thrust into turmoil. Being born a mage/sorcerer, he was automatically trained in magic and combat. War raged between his and another clan over the dominance of surrounding lands, so every able bodied person was needed. His father, being the Head-Chief of the Mourning Drakes, made Kohl taste his first kill at 6 years old, and trained him in the ways of war. On the other hand, a kind herbalist showed him how to heal and give life to those who have almost fully given up on living. “A balance is what you must keep, Kohl,” She had said to him, “Or you will drown in madness and sorrow before life’s end.”

Throughout the years of the war, Kohl became more cold and egotistical. He could cut down any man at age 8 and was considered a demon of war. He could go anywhere undetected by acting innocent and scared to the ladies in the enemy’s encampments.

At the tender age of 12, his clan collapsed. His enemies had defeated them. Fleeing to a Free City, he sought out refuge from a gentle old thief named Gathe, who treated his wounds and shielded him from enemy eyes.

By the age of 16, he had donned several tribal tattoos and a reputation as a killer, a hired assassin, loyal only to himself. Gathe was just there as a backer; someone who had connections and could hide him well. Kago chose not to tell Gathe that he considered him a father. He was not a very emotional guy, and never got too attached to anyone.

Appearance: Kohl looks like any other normal Belragoth during the day, except for the silver tribal tattoos that mark his body. At night… Well, that’s a different story altogether. (His terror version is a WIP)

Story:

Many say that at night a murderer, a Belragoth, haunts the lands. Nobody that has seen him has lived to talk of him; only his signature (written in blood) remains. Many fear the one who stalks the black nights. You can hear the roar of the beastly monster, its sound echoing, amplifying.

Kohl, on the other hand, is as sweet as can be. He protects the younglings of the clan and heals those who seek his aid. He has marked himself as a healer/guardian by tracing tribal tattoos along his body with the little magic he has. He had always been kind; At least... In the day.

But none know his secret. He has kept it hidden for years, though he has daymares about all who were killed by him. The screams would invade his mind. His 'children' rarely see him at night, but they hear the roars. He comes back with new wounds, but they never ask...

He has a little magic in him, but he rarely showed it to his patients. He failed, once, to recover a female creature he knew, and the male who loved that female begrudged Kohl for it... Kohl lamented the loss of such a creature and friend, but she was past his healing and magical abilities. If he had just gotten there sooner...

While he was still torn up over the loss, the male carried on with crude jests; He couldn't heal for anything, he wasn't fit to work on others, and that he wasn't worth the female's love. The male then tried to poison Kohl. He... Snapped. A Berserker rage took over. In a matter of minutes, Kohl slaughtered the male and 4 others. When Kohl awoke, he was covered in the blood of the dead laying around him.

He cried out to Her, but She wouldn't listen. Instead, She laid a curse upon him to forever remind him of what he did... He's constantly reminded of his past, even though he's changed his ways...
