Makorphas is a spirit of unknown origin that, according to legend, has existed since the first snowy night. He is the spirit of blizzards, of snow fall at night, and of the wild and relentless tundra.
He is known most commonly amongst the villagers and creatures of the snowy north, living in desolate regions that are normally in a state of at least semi-darkness. These people worship him when they are in need of wisdom or vigilance, especially when those asking for it are about to step in to the unknown.
Makorphas can appear in a number of forms. His most commonly used form is that of a massive black stag with sparkling white markings. He can also be seen as a black wolf with white eyes, or as an old man in furs.
