The Pantheon of Storms
The mistress of thunderstorms, Maybelline, is a part of a pantheon that is facing tumult and mutiny. It doesn't help that the blame of the mutiny is landing on her brother, The Master of Tornadoes.
The pantheon of storm is only one of the many pantheons that rule the earth. This pantheon consists of The Master of Blizzards, The Master of Tornadoes and The Mistress of Thunderstorms. They are ruled by the High Queen, the Empress of Storms.
This pantheon was supposed to be the most disciplined pantheon and was held together by the iron hand of The Empress. The rule of an iron hand almost always breeds dissent.The Master of tornadoes rebelled and fled to the mortal world.
It is becoming clear with each passing day that there will be war. And in this war, people would have to take sides. Whose side will Maybelline take? Her brother she shares blood with? Or the Empress she owes allegiance to?
Introduction
Maybelline is the Mistress of Thunderstorms. She is a member of the storm pantheon that controls all kinds of storms that occur upon the world. She is the youngest member of the pantheon and controls thunderstorms. Her work includes determining when and where a thunderstorm should occur and what amount of time should it last. She calculates the damage and the benefit to be given to the inhabitants of a place based on the sins they had committed and the virtues they accomplished and also based on her own liking of the people of that place.
As war gradually becomes inevitable, Maybelline is torn between her brother and her Empress. She loves her brother but respects the Empress. A part of her wants to end the almost tyrannical rule of the Empress but another part of her knows and fears that she might not be able to handle things without her.

Looks May is 5'4 and rather lean. She has black hair that is cut short (Much to the dismay of the Empress of Storm) . She has green eyes that are carefully lined with kohl. She also has a tattoo of a dragon running along the entire length of her right arm. As Mistress of Thunderstorms she wears a pendant shaped like a lightening bolt that is the source of most of her powers.
Personality If we believe the Empress of Storms, May is anything but a goddess. She likes the mortal world more than anything else. She often sneaks out of the Fort of Storms to enjoy the 'mortal pleasures' that are forbidden to the heavenly creatures. She is quite forward and usually cheerful. She loves to duel and she only usually visits her brother for the sake of it. She is not easily offended and sarcasm is usually responded to with a broad grin.
She has a great dislike for her first name and usually goes by May. She hates 'that name' to an extent that she swears she will 'humiliate, mutilate and feed to the vultures' anyone who dares to address her by that name. The Empress of Storms is an exception to this oath solely because she is more powerful

1) She loves heavy metal music.
2) Unless you want to be humiliated, mutilated and then fed to vultures, DO NOT call her Maybelline. She hates the name. You better call her just May. Any other nicknames will be treated the same way. So don't call her Belle, Bella, Maybelle or anything like that.
3) Even though she doesn't tell anybody, she loves chocolate. (Better not mention it or you'll be humiliated, mutilated and fed to the vultures)
