The Adorable Peacock

Mayura (Or Mayu for short. He tends to be called by his nickname.)

Motif: White Indian Peacock, Hera and the Peacock/Eyes of Argus (However, his feathers look more of a light silver in color than white)

Mayura is named after one of the sacred Hindu birds (a peacock) of mythology. (He is also a fan character created for Kamen Rider Den-O [We don't own KR or any of their characters. This story is just based on a Den-O RP that we currently have going on] and who was created by the combined efforts of Xeiana, Jesper and myself. He is our cute baby and we love him a lot, so please, don't attempt to kidnap him. If you do, our OCs, Akane, Inari and Kasumi will be after you in a heartbeat. Just a warning~)

Mayura is such a young Imagin that he doesn't know what his mission is. That or none of the fellow Imagins or even Kai told him about it. Because of this, he doesn't know that when creating and then completing a contract with a weak-willed human, he needs to fly to the past and start to rampage in order to reconnect the Imagin's destroyed future. In creating a contract, every Imagin takes on the form based on whatever the person is thinking about. Mayura's peacock form was based off of the myth Eyes of Argus which the little kid was thinking of when he unknowingly formed a contract with when asking him why he was crying in the rain. This wish was that he wanted to see his three triplet sisters again after they died in a car crash a few weeks beforehand. And all Mayura wanted to do was to find a way to make the kid happy and he went off to find three people who looked like the girls in the picture that he was given by the 9 year old boy.

Unfortunately, Mayura is forced to fly when Kai sent another Imagin after him in the intent to destroy the useless peacock, after he brought three girls who looked similar to the boy's three sisters, much to their (the three girls) partners annoyance. The girls used the DenLiner to head back to the past after they see the other Imagin chase the peacock through the strongest memory that the boy held onto and completely ignored the three feral riders who were mere feet away. Once in the past, and knowing that the peacock meant no harm to anyone with the way he protected his former contractor in the past, the girls ended up saving him from the attacking Imagin and destroyed the said Imagin in their feral forms. Despite the protesting from their temporary Imagin partners (minus Ryuutaros), they decided to bring the peacock into the DenLiner. During that time, Momotaros and Urataros, along with Kintaros, noticed that the peacock Imagin behaved in a way that reminded them of the bear Imagin when they ran into him with Ryoutarou months before.

Owner confronted the girls about bringing a new Imagin aboard with them, but they tell him that they would share all three of their passes with him and explained that he was no threat and he's adorable, so they wanted to keep him. During the temporary rider's (the three girls) time on the DenLiner, he became a helper to Naomi in the diner cart with making the food and coffee and ended up being very popular with the other DenLiner guests. The other Imagins, minus Kintaros and Ryuutaros, never fully trust the young Imagin, though each had their own reasons why. (Which was the fact that the girls focused more of their attention on him then on their partners, which irritated them.)

When the girls had to leave after rescuing Ryoutarou, due to the fact that the 'feral' passes had shattered in order to bring the original Den-O pass back, Naomi stopped Owner from kicking the peacock Imagin off the DenLiner. She explained that she would share her ticket with Mayura, earning him a permanent spot on the DenLiner from that moment on.

When Ryoutarou returned to the DenLiner after being freed from the 'Time Tear', he hesitantly asked who the peacock belonged to after noticing him color with Ryuutaros in the diner car. Naomi explained to Ryoutarou that the three temporary riders found him early on and gave him a place on the DenLiner and that she is now sharing her pass with him.

Because of his stay on the DenLiner, Mayura had grown very attached to Ryuutaros, who was the first Imagin to welcome him aboard and resulted in the peacock calling him "Onii-san" or big brother and Kintaros, who saw a bit of himself in the younger Imagin and protected him most times from the others, especially from Momotaros' frequent fights with the others. This had earned him the name "Otou-san" or father/daddy because Mayu viewed him as a father figure. Beside the Imagins, Mayura is also very close with Naomi and Hana, the former because of him being around her all the time when he helps out in the diner car. The latter was a bit difficult to get close to, due to her initial hatred of all Imagins. He did have a big influence on Hana's views about the Imagins along with the others, which changed the more time she spent around them.

Mayura has a very unique ability, much like Sieg and Ryuutaros. He is able to hypnotize both Imagin and humans alike by spreading out his tail feathers, which are revealed to have black and white eye markings on them, which is strange for a white/silver peacock to have. This causes them to freeze and open them up for an attack, time to re-group or flee once they focus on the eye markings. But seeing as he is still very young, this effect only lasts for 10 seconds or so or shorter if something causes his tail to fold back up. As he grows older, this ability will last longer.

Even though Mayura doesn't like fighting, as seen by the girls (when they were preventing the other Imagin from hurting him in the past) and Ryoutarou (during the frequent fights that get started in the DenLiner), he does have a weapon for his Imagin form. This weapon, called the Mayufan, is a feather-like fan that can extend to become several feet larger to wield in battle. There are also many smaller feathers around the base of the fan that can be pulled off and used as throwing darts, which are mainly used for distractions and explode when they make contact with an enemy Imagin. However, if he's defending himself with his fan and throwing darts on the DenLiner, they won't explode.
