I didn't know that day, that i'd lose my soul. It was a regular Darkseed, I told myself. But it didn't look right. Its skin was bubbling like hot tar. Its features spelled hunger.
I was so naive.
Then it bit me. My tail, to be more exact. Before I could whip it off, I knew something was very wrong. The creature fazed, then vanished. It left the end of my tail a deep purple. Whatever, I thought to myself.
Oh, but it doesn't end there. Days later, the flesh on my tail began falling from the bone. I thought I was dying... now I wish that were the case. My exposed bones grew and morphed until a skull sat atop my tail. Then it started talking. "The name's Oku." it said.
