You walk into what you believe is an empty apartment. You scour through every inch of the space, sneezing occasionally from the thick layer of dust that covers everything.
However, when you reach the bedroom, you see that the bed has been slept in recently, misshapen sheets and all, otherwise the rest of the room is in perfect condition. The color scheme is bland and gray, except for one thing.
A diary lays on the nightstand, its pages crisp and new, and not a scuff or stain on it. A fountain pen lays right beside it, the tip still wet with fresh ink. It looks like it's been used recently.
You ponder for a moment, tempted to survey the contents of the diary, but decide against it. It would be very rude of you look through the contents without the owner's consent.
Bored with your little adventure at this point, you walk out of the bedroom and toward the entrance. You lock the door before exiting in hopes of no one else snooping where they don't belong.
