My story isn't by any means something fantastic or inspiring. There's no magic, no monsters, and nobody has any special powers (as far as I know). I'm not at all special or any kind of heroine, and there isn't really a moral to this story. It's just a bunch of confusing stupid stuff that happened to some girl whose guitar couldn't keep up with her dreams. If anyone ever reads my story or not, I don't really care; I guess I'm just writing all of this down so that I can get everything out of my head. Now... where do I start?

I can't think of anything that was truly remarkable about me. I was some blonde chick living in the suburbs with parents who, unfortunately for the sake of this story, were completely alive and pretty good people. I'm not about to use them as an excuse for the things I did, or why I felt such an overwhelming urge to get out of that middle class Hell. Maybe it was all his fault.
You hear lots of stories about girls falling for the guy next-door. However, my guy next-door was a lame sack of God-fearing potatoes, so instead I opted for the boy three blocks over. His name was Aiden, and his parents were pretty much fresh off the boat from Russia. He was a kind of sloppy kid, with shaggy hair and too tight jeans that I doubt he ever washed, but dammit the second I saw him I knew that I needed to have him. I think part of it had to do with that sexy accent he would always pull out on me, and maybe a little bit because my parents absolutely hated him, but there was no doubt that I was in stupid teenage girl crushy love.
Now, as with all teenage girls, I tried to make myself more like my boycrush so he would like me instead of, you know, telling him how I felt. But again, I must reiterate -- I was a teenage girl and all of those hormones made me reallystupid when it came to boys. Especially cute ones who could play bass. My pants got skinner, my shirts got dirtier, and I started listening to everything that he liked, most of which was ska. Eventually, when he caught on to our similar tastes, he sweettalked me into learning guitar so I could be in a band with him and some of his skeezy friends. And wouldn't ya know it, starting that damn band changed everything.

I never wanted this, no one ever wanted this
But they gave it to me so I might as well be proud of it
And I know I've done something wrong
All I know now is I got to do something... right?
