"I remember falling asleep earlier, but... what is this?"
An elderly lady stood next to her bed, completely shocked at what she saw before her. The bed was not of best quality, but she always made sure to put on the comfiest sheets, set up the best pillows, and always cover it with two sheets and the quilt her mother made her so long ago. Nestled under the sheets was a body - her body. How could this have happened?
Ahh, that's right... old age must've caught up to her. It's rather unsettling to wake up and find that you've left your body behind, but it's better than what most experience. Dying asleep in your bed is something that most could only want while waiting at death's door.
Oh no, she's extremely troubled. She gently caresses her cheek, tears up, then starts sobbing.
"No, no! So much that's not right! Why now...? I want to make things right!"
I linger there for a moment longer before bringing my form together and making myself known.
"...excuse me, kind lady, but it's time we moved on. That you moved on."
