The Ice of Old

Legends tell of beings of thought which either exist in the world, or rarely, reside in a book written in the ink of the essence of time. There is a particular book where these beings, or rather, Thought Sprites, can call home, if one is able to tempt them to stay within. Tricky creatures, the Sprites, as they can take the form of whatever they want; as beings of thought and inspiration, all it takes is a simple thought to change form into something better suited towards their needs. In the Veiled Book, known to only a few of the Shadow Dwellers who created it, only three of them call it home voluntarily, some more than others.

And now, a new Keeper has arrived, the first one in five hundred years.

Permafrost is one of the three Thought Sprites that dwell within the Keeper's Veiled Book. He is, nonetheless, the most difficult to control. To win his trust is a still waging battle between him and Forsake. Because of this, she does not use him unless her life is at stake, and even when that happens, there's no telling on if he truly would help her.

Permafrost, his personality similar to the never changing ice that he had been born in, is rather set in his ways, preferring the silence of his 'makeshift home' in the Veiled Book.
