Nooooo! Nadia!" yelled a tall dark skinned woman as her baby daughter wandered into the line of fire in a small African village. Suddenly one of the soldier ran from behind the barricade and grabbed the girl and held her against him. He ran back to the house where her mother was. He smiled down at the woman as he handed the woman her daughter. "Here you go..." he told her before quickly running back to the fight. The woman had gotten lucky. The girl had only skinned her knee.
As Sananhi flashed back to the present he sighed. He remembered that day so well. It was one of the better days as a soldier. He loved those days. Those days before he died the first time. After he came back and could no longer die. Sanahi brought both of his large long fingered hands to his face and then ran them through his short thick black hair. As he set his hands back on his knees he stood up. He was in the middle of a park. He looked briefly up at the sky. It was a bright morning too. A slight smile came across his face. He wasn't dressed too badly for the warm day ahead with his olive green t shirt which was tight against his muscular chest, and khaki shorts were ended right below his knees, and his sneakers which he wore barefoot.
No one would ever suspect this man was a former lieutenant in the army. Nope... No one at all...
