You lie, silent there before me Your tears, they mean nothing to me The wind howling at the window The love you never gave I give to you Really don't deserve it But now, there's nothing you can do So sleep, in your only memory of me, My dearest mother
Here's a lullaby to close your eyes Goodbye It was always you that I despised I don't feel enough for you to cry, oh well, Here's a lullaby to close your eyes Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye

Full Name: Sarah Sonnet Nick Names: Song Meaning: -noun 1. a short metrical composition intended or adapted for singing, esp. one in rhymed stanzas; a lyric; a ballad. 2. a musical piece adapted for singing or simulating a piece to be sung: Mendelssohn's "Songs without Words." 3. poetical composition; poetry. 4. the art or act of singing; vocal music. 5. something that is sung. 6. an elaborate vocal signal produced by an animal, as the distinctive sounds produced by certain birds, frogs, etc., in a courtship or territorial display.
A herald of death, Song was once a young and beautiful girl. Though, she died tragically in an accident, her soul was picked to be one of the very few and rare heralds to be born of human soul. Human souls are usually too fragile for such a task, but whomever chose her fate must have thought she was strong enough for the task. Erasing her memory, they left her with but the simple knowledge that her voice was death on gentle wings.
So, more often than not, she'll appear at the bedside of someone about to pass, especially those who aren't accompanied by friends or family, and she will then sing them a lullaby to put them at rest for good. To few, she'll show herself, to others, she will remain unseen; though if seen, most say she is a beautiful angel, with wings white as snow. Though this is indeed true to form, she is certainly no angel. She is death; a beautiful death at that, but death by any other name. And because her memory was wiped before she got to this state, she isn't really sure of who she once was; personality, history, anything. A lot about her personally is unknown, or just recently discovered.
Some things she does know is that, although her song is a call of death, it only affects mortals and those who actually fall asleep during her song. If somehow, someone can stay awake through one of her lullabies, then they continue to live; for immortals who do fall asleep, death may come to them but it's up to Death if they live or die. Even with this knowledge, she refuses to sing in public, or really, at all, not wanting any accidental deaths on her hands. Which is too bad~ since she has quite the lovely voice.

So insignificant, sleeping dormant deep inside of me, Are you hiding away, lost, under the sewers? Maybe flying high, in the clouds? Perhaps you're happy without me So many seeds have been sown in the field And who could sprout up so blessedly, If I had died, I would have never felt sad at all You will not hear me say 'I'm sorry' Where is the light, wonder if it's weeping somewhere?
