Speak's life is not one of extreme excitement or of anything worth listening to. A college graduate at a young age, this young male works inside a somewhat enchanted library and often finds himself getting sucked into the books he reads or finds laying open to retrieve the few people who go to the library. He is generally solitary and can be found on the fourth floor of the library building inside of his room. He lives inside the library since he inherited the responsibility of owning 8t and maintaining it from his previous Boss before the older man had met an untimely ending to his own story.
Speak generally enjoys himself a fantasy novel or something of the similar genre, though he prefers not being caught up in modern war novels. Last time he almost had his own life ended. Being one to work in an enchanted library, he has to make sure if someone does get sucked into a book, they don't ruin it and change the story, or else he has to change the story name and so forth, which is very unpleasant for him, so ever fairytale and novel in his library must be managed and must be kept from changing too much. And with this vast library and it's enchantments, it comes with plenty of knowledge on the Arcane Artes.
Still, Speak prefers his quite life and solitary existence with in the library. Occasionally you may see him writing or typing his own manuscript for a novel he hopes to one day publish, but you'll be lucky if he ever lets you peek at it. As far as the world knows, Speak knows several languages and is very fluent in all of them. Though, he tends to not talk to often, seeing as how people generally aren't worth his time or worth the effort of trying to convey emotions and meaning to.
He finds humans in general to be interesting creatures and being. You can often see him studying about them in his spare time and trying to figure out how they can occasionally be born with the ability to conjure up magic without being related to a naturally mystical being.
As for what Speak is besides a Librarian and Aspiring Author, no one knows. Usually he is referred to as 'The Bookkeeper' of the enchanted Library. He claims to be something similar to a Horse-like creature, in example of Pegasus or unicorn, but not quite either of those and very easily can change from a humanoid to more Quadruped like form. Other than that, there is not much info on who or what he is. His name on letters signed by him is Thaddeus Belmont.
