Vanitas easily passes off as intimidating or always irritated. She rarely smiles, and almost always has a serious expression on her face. She tends to carry herself in a rigid manner, rarely ever seen completely relaxed. Vanitas doesn't speak often, and tends to keep her answers as short as possible. She's not very outgoing, nor is she overly eager to meet new people.
Born in Outer Land, Vanitas has no choice but to be defensive and judgmental, any sort of error can cost her her life. She along with older, more experienced warriors are in charge of guarding an unnamed continent that is connected to Outer Land, making sure that absolutely nothing trespasses onto this territory. Vanitas is forbidden to enter the continent herself due to the shattered trust between the warriors, and the alchemists that are in charge of guarding something much more dangerous. Vanitas has only heard small details about what she's keeping trespassers from seeing. Because of what she has heard, she doesn't take any chances, and won't allow anyone to cross the borders of the unnamed continent.
