War was the middle aged son of the three Stignightus brothers born in the icy realms of Mistica. Born to a surrogate mother, War became fascinated with the idea of the military and vouched that when he was older, he would serve the lands in their hour of need. Violent and clouded with despair and trauma from his ex military days, War developed a hatred for his younger brother, who became part of a fascist movement during the war that raged throughout the lands. Wounded by the memories of his past, War declared battle upon his brother, which resulted in the death of his younger sibling. Racked with guilt and pain, War could never forgive himself, and as punishment, banished himself to the deserted plains of Dire. His eldest brother, Lyric cut contact with War and delved into the world of music and fantasy, whilst War was left alone and remorseful. To this day, violence still runs through War's blood.

"To this day, I still cannot forgive myself for what I did to my younger brother. He was young. Surely he did not know any different? I ask myself these questions every day, they cycle my mind, never resting, never fading from my memories. I just wish there was some way I could apologise to my eldest brother, Lyric, to make us whole again, so that we could be a happy family. Of course, I don't think that will ever happen. I don't think anyone has it in their hearts to forgive me for the things I have done, and I don't blame them. All I ask for is forgiveness from my mother - I don't know if she is even still alive, but I hope she would be proud of what I have now become..."
