Clone says (( *dusts self off* Oh jeeze, let's figure out how to write Clone...especially since he's changed a fair bit since we started this shindig lol )) *the scientist kept a fairly calm facade in the face of potential danger. His creations bolted toward the noise echoing throughout the forest, leaving him with only the rat-like creature and himself. There was a small voice in his mind somewhere that told him this creature was dangerous, but he ignored it completely; after all, he'd dealt with things far more dangerous than this* "Come on then, hurry up. No time to waste on a lovely evening like this, hmm?" *he breathed, voice incredibly passive, perhaps unamused at best, as he turned and walked through the undergrowth with his hands shoved into his labcoat pockets. Screams began to rise up through the air as his monsters found their targets, but this didn't even so much as make him flinch. Instead, he just ran a hand through his ebony hair to shoo it away from his face. The walk was one he'd done many times, and it seemed almost subconscious as they arrived at the laboratory in the heart of the forest. It was large and spanned over several acres, different sections housing different types of buildings and areas all connected with various glass pathways and arches...or at least, it looked like glass. He lead the newcomer up to the main gate and lifted a hand to a flat surface that read it with a quick flash of light, sliding doors opening to allow them into the main area. Despite his pets, the voices of his pursuers continued to grow louder. The scientist clicked his tongue at that and jerked his chin toward where the sound was coming from* "Don't you worry about that. Nothing gets onto my property without me saying so. Still, makes me curious about what exactly you did to make them want to chase you down..." *he shrugged again, gesturing toward the doorway and giving the other the choice to enter or not* "Regardless, your secret's safe with me. I don't really care what you did~"

Clone says *the scientist just looked up at the creature dangling from his trap and offered a deadpanned expression, his eyes shifting from their original gray to a shimmering gold. Clone considered doing something rather drastic just to entertain himself, but it didn't seem all that worth it to kill such an interesting specimen right away...he might have exciting DNA and new genetic material to play with* If they're not your friends, would you mind if I got rid of them? I don't care for more human experiments; they're rather drab. *he huffed a little in mild irritation, rolling his shoulders before pulling a silent whistle from his pocket. He blew it hard, and despite making no sound that would be audible to anything but his pets, it certainly summoned them quickly. All manner of monsters started to slither forth from the depths of the shadows, all of them different in their own regard and just as terrifying as they were twisted, though the one thing they had in common was a dripping, green ooze that seemed to leak from their orifices* Feeding time! *he sung out gleefully, skipping forward a few steps and sliding his red-tinged lab goggles down over his eyes. He flicked a wrist toward the rat-creature that stayed by his side, the monster climbing the tree with ease and biting the rope just above where it had snagged the undead man. The rope smoked and began to decay at the green-tinged bite, degrading until it snapped and sent the other falling back to the ground. The creature jumped down after him and shoved him up to his feet a little roughly with its snout* Come on then! Unless you'd like to be part of the feast with your not-friends!

Clone says (( Blech, having this on his profile reminds me of how long ago I actually updated it. ;c )) *it had been dreadfully quiet these past few days, so much so that the scientist actually had time to hear himself think and that was never much a good thing. Each second seemed to drag on into eternity, minutes wasting away with nothing to do and forced into self induced isolation. The lab was spotless and each tile and window shimmering with perfection, each instrument sterilized and carefully stored away--this was perhaps what made the bloodied lab coat the scientist donned such a surprise, red tinted goggles also resting upon his head as he paced through the corridors of his own design. Brilliance couldn't sleep, a perfect design couldn't sit still, and being an experiment himself didn't give him much time to just...well, be a normal person. Perfection perfection...perfection had to be somewhere, just waiting to be created* "Damnit!" *a sudden curse shattered his silence, the man's own voice seeming to startle him for a moment before he froze, his hands delicately held out beside him before he grinned at a screen flashing on his wall of monitors and dials. A lab in the heart of the forest didn't see many visitors aside from wild animals and he'd really had his fill of toying with them, but, at the very least it gave him a chance to feed one of his other creations. And something to do* "Hey pet, come on! Let's go hunting. Hurry up now! I don't have time to wait for you~" *with a wave of his hand the scientist was already out the door, several interesting inventions stored away in his lab coat and sachel while an interesting creature leapt after him. It looked to be mostly a giant rat, though it also had traits of other woodland creatures stitched together in a fashion to create something completely different and terrifying in its own right--stitched was also a crude word, considering that it looked like it was its own species and had always meant to look that way, neon green ooze leaking from its jaws as it hunkered after its master. It didn't take long for Clone to find the trap that had been set off, though the voices in the distance were unfamiliar and exciting at the same time--visitors? How delightful! He needed more projects, he really did...his thoughts stopped midway as he glanced up at the trap and tilted his head visibly, scrunching his face up a little as if trying to get a better look at something he didn't understand* "Well aren't you an interesting one? You should probably tell your friends to leave now--I don't have time to entertain guests~"
