Xanael was never one for words, even as a young demon. A frown seemed to be painted on his face; his mouth barely moving, if at all. He never kept any conversations and only responded to questions that could be answered with a "yes" or "no". His eyes were always hard and indifferent. They shown any happiness, fear, approval, or disapproval. No love or warmth. Though his eyes were hard crystal; his heart was warm as coal.
He did have compassion, he did feel love. There is no tragic love story, nobody left him, stole his heart, died. There was no female that he felt for, no female that felt for him. His feelings were reserved for only his family. There was rarely any feelings of loathing. The only hate that was in him was reserved for the bitterest of enemies. And those were few and far between.
Taking whatever form they so please, Xan prefers the form of an ice dragon. Also frequenting the forms of a white bengal tiger, a white serpent, and a polar bear. The rest of the powers of the clan remain secret, some powers even secret to the demons themselves.
Often called the Protectors of the Frigid, Phantoms of the Mountains, and Demons of the Frost, the Ice Demons live most of their lives up high on the peeks, where few humans dare to wonder. Only the most bravest and curious of the demons travel down to the human village below, assuming whichever form they please; be it human or beast. For the most part, the demons are friendly and non-threatening. They do not wish to harm the humans and vice versa. There has only been one conflict; a war for the mountain ranges years and years ago. Since that tragedy, both sides agreed to a mutual understanding.
