The One who gives Life
Based on Yggdrasil from Digimon.
Of all the rumors and legends about the thirteen Royal Circle immortals and the Seven Demons of Sin, there has been little to know about the one who is protected and in turn is the one the knights turn to for their orders. From the world where the Demons and Knights had come from, there existed a god who created the world and everything that lived there. His name was Yggdrasil, the legendary Tree of Life.
The world he originally created, a digital planet composed of beings made from data, existing in parallel to another world, had nearly been obliterated due to the Seven Demons and their army that marched forth from the Dark Area, a place where nothing but darkness and viruses could survive. Yggdrasil himself had nearly withered and died because of this and only with the help from his loyal circle of knights was he able to slowly regain his lifeforce back. Because of his still weak body, both his avatar 'bird' state and his true tree self, he remains back on the world beneath the earth.
Although he is of little words and is barely seen, he is able to communicate from their original world through a glowing yellow and white orb, an identical one that is carried by Kain, which normally rests on the roots of a tree, a sapling from his own self. This tree can be found in the courtyard of the Rising Castle, nearly as tall as the castle itself with leaves that range from silver to a dark rich green and brownish-grey bark.
He speaks through telepathy due to him originally being a tree. His bird state is an extension of himself, a body he created to allow him free movement in his world. His wings, composing of dark brown bark with golden adornments and numerous green and white leaves in place of feathers, are able to lift him up into the air, although he barely needs to flap them as he instead hovers in place. His fur is pure white with eyes the color of the ocean, and his eyelids, belly, and beak a beautiful golden hue. To show that he indeed was the creator, three red dots adorn his forehead. Around his neck is green fur and leaves, while golden vines encircle his arms and legs. At his feet there is bark that is slowly encasing is legs, a reminder to himself who is truly is.
The reason why the bark and his feathers are fading from one color to another is due to his lifeforce slowly returning to him. Once he is fully recovered, his wings will be a pure green hue while his bark will retain its brownish color. Around him, similar to the orb he always carries, are small balls of shining light that float harmlessly of various sizes. These are the reconfiguring data of those who had lost their lives seeking to be reborn. They stay with him until they are capable to be reborn somewhere in his world.
Yggdrasil awaits the day in which his knights can defeat the Demons of Sin and bring peace to the worlds they attempt to destroy, but for now, all he can do is rest and help his world rebuild to its former glory.
