On the desert contenint of Kodana deep in the savannah live Hecatti, the lizard people, and Lenon the centaurs. Along with the non sentiant creatures such as flamingo, crocodile, jewel bettle, giant rats, and lions.
Both Hecatti and Lenon were tribal though the Lenon associated with none outside their race. The Hecatti were more social and when humans came about saw great advantage in trading with them.
The humans came from a small island not far from Kodana and only to flee a war there or to regroup against their enemy. Apparently this enemy was under the corrupt influence of the god of the underwold, not to be confused with the god of the dead.
This underworld god sought to control all the world and destroy the other gods. At one point he had been caged but his release sent the world into a panicked war mode.
Now all humans and humanoid races gather for war against the rogue god. This caused them to spread and come across other races. Other races such as the Lenon centaurs who did not find them welcome in their lands.
Zhed was part of a proud tribe of Lenon warriors and one of the few left of his kind. Centaurs in good times will refer to humans as two-legs and at worst times prey.
"As the number of two-legs grows in my land the number of my people become less."
Zhed claims to have seen many atrocities done by humans in their wars. Although he may work with two-legs it would only be to his benefit. How much he can be trusted by one not of his race is unsure.
