Damien has been around much longer than the earth has, and way back then, he was once an angel time keeper God Scribe of Drifting Time. A simple job, all he had to do was keep track of the clocks that read the span of life of those currently living. He would wind those who needed a bit more time, and simply watch as those who's time it was simply stop. He recorded and made sure to know all that needed about each individual clock, and even sometimes, the individuals who's clock they belonged to. However, this peace was interrupted by the appearing of a demented clock. It had fallen down the wrong path, and somehow ended up in Clock's care. He knew it didn't belong there, but still, he touched it.

This clock held a curse, so to speak, and it turned a demon on him that began to posses Clock. After that, Clock wasn't able to continue his job, but still was infatuated with clocks. He built clocks to measure life spans, as if to try and gain back his old job. One such creation was a nearly living clock for the earth, called "The Corrosion of Time".

Now a days, he travels the earth trying to cling onto that last bit of sanity he does have, but often seems paranoid and a bit out of focus.
