Vela says The commotion going on around them caused her concentration to waver and she quickly glanced around at their surroundings, her silvery gaze lingering on the few familiar figures nearby, seeming rather concerned by the approaching threat that was the Prince. She flinched when the Prince swatted Zreii away from him out of frustration and with little effort, a hushed gasp escaping her lips as soon as the specter landed sprawled across the ground. She snapped her focus back to Exodus, leaning towards him in a panic and placing her hands on the front of his jacket to pull him closer. Her head tilted towards him, listening closely to the few words that left his tongue, her eyes widening slightly when she realized her subtle attempts to manipulate his mind would continue to fail and she would have to follow his instructions and act quickly if she wanted to succeed at all. “Okay,” she breathed, staring at him with a deadpan expression now. After a mere second, Vela managed with some difficulty to gather her focus again, and as soon as Exodus opened his pale eyes she took hold of his gaze, her own brightly colored eyes boring into his, weaving her way into his subconscious with a silvery thread at the brief opportunity, the more powerful force attacking his surrounding defenses not going unnoticed.
