Lemniscate says Cate narrowed her eyes at Talie, as if she could read mind if she did. "Hmm." She muttered, staring into her eyes. "It probably isn't. I'm just wondering what makes someone join without a second thought. It makes me think you're either an idiot or have an ulterior motive."
Lemniscate says Without a warning Cate practically launched herself on Talie. Putting their faces close together she raised an eyebrow. "I don't believe that. No one joins an organisation like that without a better reason."
Lemniscate says Cate grinned. "I'll get you an autograph from my dad. That is much more interesting, I promise." She tilted her head. "So why do you teach music at this headquarters thingy then?"
Lemniscate says Cate couldn't help but laugh. "I don't think you need to worry about that." She grinned. "Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Lemniscate. My father is Chronos. He, ehm... is time." She scratched the back of her head, still grinning. "My job is to make sure time flows as it should and doesn't go wrong somewhere. I travel around, making sure nothing goes wrong." Cate shrugged. "Personally I have never heard of you organisation but I don't think they'd mind if I knew about you."
Lemniscate says Now Cate was just curious. "You'll have to tell me now. Otherwise I might go asking around and you'll get in serious trouble." She smirked. For some reason she was starting to get excited. If Talie was really involved in time travel, for whatever reason, Cate would be allowed to talk to her about her real job. And perhaps even who she was.
