Kael says "Property? I certainly do not belong to this small thing." He blinked a few times, missing the meaning. "I have to argue, it is strange." He did respond with a slight grin though. "I sit around doing work all day, for anyone to find that interesting is unusual."
Kael says "..." Kael thought about that a moment as he stepped into the movement, putting an arm around her by habit. "I do not usually have company... It might be shy?" He offered, though he had no idea what the little pal thought. He was just used to it being there, climbing on him, rearranging his stuff, or demanding his attention somehow. "I still do not know why it decided to follow me around." He admitted with a blink. (("Pfft it's jealous now that the better snuggler has shown up." Shot. ))

Kael says He paused a moment, but knew that was the answer. There wasn't much of a reason to hide it, was there. "Yes." His shoulders fell ever so slightly as he relaxed a little. "I do not think I could, but it does not hurt to have a reminder to keep me company." He offered a slight smile. Mini-Castor didn't seem too happy about the contact though, and huffed as it tugged on his hair again.
Kael says "Not entirely. I did not expect to see you again, after all, and I had to call it something." He explained haltingly, eventually relenting and giving the tool back to mini-Castor. Content with that, it patted his hair back into place (or as close to it as it could manage) and sat about looking pleased with itself. "So I chose something I would not forget."
Kael says "Um." Though his look was as blank as ever, he was sure she could read the awkwardness in his posture. Would she be offended if he told her the truth? He hoped not. "Castor, this is... Well, um. Castor." He uttered awkwardly as the pal puffed out its chest proudly and tugged at his hair so to get its weapon back.
Kael says "Bothering me? Of course not. You should know as much by now." Kael smiled a little himself at that. "You are always welcome here." But apparently he wasn't the only one to decide things as he winced. It always had to use those little prongs to climb, didn't it, he thought darkly as the small masked mini-Castor climbed up the back of his jacket to pull on his hair and perch itself on the top of his head. "Yes, she is welcome, you shall have to share." He repeated and reached up to take the fork out of its hands, for it was waving it at Castor as if trying to say this was its spot.

Kael says Kael had moved into the hug mechanically, but now he blinked and tilted his head slightly with concern. "Is everything alright?" He asked, just in case. Sure, he had become a bit more tolerating of hugs since in Melania, but it didn't keep him from wondering if there were reasons for it. And if something bad were to be going on with her, well... His arms tightened ever so slightly. It wasn't like him to be protective, he thought with mild irritation, and promptly put a lid on those thoughts before they got away from him.
Kael says "Ah..." As he moved to return the gesture he realized he hadn't made many efforts to go see her since they had met again. "Yes, um, I am sorry. With old habits returning, I have hardly set foot out of my own home as of late..." He tried to explain, but, as usual, he just fumbled awkwardly. "I will be sure to stop by in the future." He decided with a determined look on his face.
Kael says "Oh no, it is nothing aside from the usual paperwork." Kael was relieved when he saw her, and he let his posture relax a little bit as he moved to the door to open it. "You are hardly ever a bother." He assured her with a nod of his head.
Kael says "Um. Come in?" Kael was more than a little surprised to get a visitor, and he could only guess it was someone from work showing up off schedule. Who else visited him? Well, Castor was here now, he remembered as he marked his place in his book and began to straighten up the table. He hoped it was her instead of someone from work.
